I have been part of this community for many years, working tirelessly to make it a better place. I have volunteered for the local schools, Boy Scouts of America, Paralyzed veterans of America. I have donated my time helping local senior citizens and have supported many causes.

I know the value of being connected. That's why I'm running for this position. Helping, so I might help you. I have traveled to Europe, Canada, Mexico, and all across the United States. I have seen disparities and hopeless faces. I have also seen different ways to help those faces.

My name is Mathew Castillo, and I'm running for Michigan's State Representative of District 64. I need your help. Please vote CASTILLO in the August 6th, 2024 Primary Election and the November 5th General Election.

Public Services
I help people because it brings me great joy. I donate when I can because I'm able. Becoming State Representative will allow me to do more. When I am no longer on this beautiful earth I can say I tried, what will you say?
Public Events
One of the great things about Michigan is the public events. Although I currentlly work a full time job to fulfill life's financial requirments and to finance my campaign, I make sure to be present at as many public events as possible. It is at these events, where I can talk one on one with those in the community not just about the event, but what is important to that person in particular.
So please, If you see me, stop and say hello, as I would like nothing more than to meet you and truly listen to what you have to say.
My Background
When I was very young I worked on a farm making boxes for the produce. I was paid a few cents per box and it was fair at the time. My first actual job that I wanted was with the Times Herald as a paperboy. As I grew so did my wants so I became a dishwasher at 12 years old at two different local restaurants. I have been used to hard work and putting in my time.
Once I turned 16, I got a job as many others did at Birchwood Mall. I had a great time working with the public and over the years have had many other jobs both paid and volunteering.

Our focus is on community service, children's nutrition, reducing government spending, and environmental protection. As a key player in local and State politics, we are committed to making a positive impact in the lives of our families.

My Facts
Right now I'm a voter, a hard worker, a graduate of Port Huron High School, graduate of Saint Clair County Community College, a former Student Ambassador to Mexico, a graduate of the University of Michigan, a volunteer, a business owner, a single parent, and a very proud Father.
